Top Looks from Lanvin Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Lanvin always captures my attention with the statement pieces that they always showcase on the runway. I was disappointed to see that wasn't the case this collection. This entire collection reminded me of the Mackintosh chocolate wrappers. The metallic purple and gold colors were exactly the same shade of the wrappers, it's like he opened the iconic purple box of chocolates and got inspired. Makes you wonder, could such a collection with so much dark metallic colors possibly be worn for the summer? As for the most talked about thing in this show, the trash bags. Normally I would be thinking of a witty comment regarding the trash bags, however I thought they were kind of interesting. I choose to think of them as the purse for the purse. You know the small pouch that contains all your items, and you move it from bag to bag when switching. It would be nice to have a small metallic Lanvin pouch, even if it did look like a trash bag. Here are the looks that caught my attention the most at Lanvin Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show.
