You know that rush of feelings you get when you see a clothing item or an outfit on a mannequin and you instantly think, "This would be perfect by beach..." This was my first thought when I saw Mango's Violeta plus size collection for spring/summer 2019. The collection is very 'Havana' inspired with floral prints, bright colors, relaxed fluid fits and dresses.
Violeta is Mango's plus size label. This year, their campaign was all about empowerment with a key message of "This is how I am, because I decide what I want, I decide who I am", #IAmWhatIAm. Stunning models Paolma Elsesser, Iza Ijzerman, and Lorena Durán modeled this collection portraying beauty, freedom and the joy it brings.
The colors are stunning and the dresses, especially, are exactly what we need this summer for an easy, comfortable, relaxed look that is still sexy. I would sum up the collection to be a wrap up of what you would pack for a trip to Bali. Check out the outfits and campaign shots below .
