The Alberta Ferretti designs have always been the epitome of femininity and elegance, and this Spring/Summer 2014 collection was absolutely nothing less than that. The Italian designer presented a collection that was inspired by South America, think Peru and its folklore, which was very evident in her choice of colors and floral embroideries. There were also influences from South of Italy, so a melange of this and that resulted in a breezy summery collection. The Alberta Ferretti Spring/Summer 2014 catwalk saw lots of white looks that were beautifully intertwined with other bright hues such as orange, blue and coral. This was by far my most favorite Alberta Ferretti collection to date, it was modern, so wearable, and she has definitely grabbed the attention of some new young audiences with it.
