A Spotlight on ValleyDez's Ramadan 2014 Collection

I’ve been witnessing a positive change in the fashion industry over the last couple of years in the Middle East. What? People in the industry are finally understanding the market and how to customize things accordingly. How about an example? ValleyDez’s "Khamsah Wi Khmaisah" event for an exclusive preview of their Ramadan 2014 collection.

The moment I entered ValleyDez boutique at Sunset Mall, I immediately noticed how they transformed it into the ultimate Ramadan experience. From the Arabic music, to the fun atmosphere and of course the pieces displayed. Let’s talk about that for a second! I’m a big fan of Middle Eastern inspired fashion, because the designs are rich in detail such as embroidery and exquisite fabrics, there’s no way you can resist that; kaftans, Abayas, turbans and statement accessories to mention a few. See, it all depends on your personal preferences, you can style a colorful kaftan with some vibrant accessories, wear it with clashed prints or just keep it simple.

The event hosted by ValleyDez’s official brand ambassador, Nadya Hasan, brought together an interesting range of designers with different backgrounds and cultures, which certainly adds something special to their design inspirations. You know what my favorite part was though? Seeing the works of Egyptian designers, that’s always a source of pride and they certainly stood out.

The ValleyDez "Khamsah Wi Khmasiah" event definitely included something for everyone; accessories, something glamorous to wear to a Ramadan gathering, or even just to embrace the Arabian style within your outfit or by adding a special touch to your home.
