Have you ever noticed that some colors make your face look great while others make it look pale and tired? Do you know that every color has several shades and hues? Has anyone told you before that you have cool or warm-toned skin? Well, in the fashion world, there is a color theory known as the 12-color season analysis that helps determine the best colors and shades for your skin tone.

The four major seasons of the 12-Seasons Color Analysis are Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Twelve color seasons overall, each of which is further broken down into three sub-seasons. According to the flow idea, all of the seasons flow into one another to complete a full round. You can get more information about every color season by following the thorough instructions in this article.

The three factors that determine your seasonal color and undertone are eyes, hair, and skin tone. Then it categorizes you into a "season"—Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter—based on how light or dark each of those things is. The colors of your season—some of which you presumably already choose—will best accentuate your features.

Spring

Spring is a time of revival when the natural world is painted in vibrant, new hues. Since Spring traits are warm, bright, and light, Springs are generally luminous and fresh. Light Spring, Clear Spring, and Warm Spring are the three sub-seasons that make up the spring season.

Light

You belong to the Light Spring season if you have:

- Strawberry blonde, golden blonde, or golden brown hair.

- Pink or peach undertones, or fair skin.

- Light brown, hazel, blue, or green eyes

For your ethnicity, light seasons (Spring or Summer) call for light skin and light hair. Additionally, the color of your eyes will be light or vivid, such as blue, green, or light brown. Light season color schemes are understated but not dark. In contrast to muted colors, which seem darker than their original color, light colors are diluted with white and appear more pastel. Instead of overpowering your light overall coloring with dark colors, choose light ones to complement it.

Light Spring celebrities: Amanda Seyfried, Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Clear

You belong to the Clear Spring season if you have:

- Light to dark golden brown hair.

- Dark skin or milky white to golden brown and has a pink undertone.

- Green, blue, or light brown eyes

The contrast between people's skin tones, hair, and eye colors is greater in the clear seasons (Spring or Winter). Consider someone with light skin, dark brown hair, and sparkling blue eyes. However, blondes who have unusually brilliant blond hair that is not silver or ashy might also be "Clear" season types. The color schemes for distinct season kinds are the most distinct and least muted in either direction. In other words, the colors are what we might describe as a true red or true blue, similar to the crayon box you used to have as a child with a tiny diversity of tints and just the brightest shades of each color.

Clear Spring celebrities: Cara Delevingne, Emma Stone, Tyra Banks, and Beyonce.

Warm

You belong to the Warm Spring season if you have:

- Strawberry blonde to copper auburn and light to dark golden brown hair.

- Warm beige, slightly bronzed skin. May have freckles.

- Green, Blue, Hazel, or Light Brown eyes.

Warm seasons in Spring or Autumn have darker hair and skin tones with warmer, golden undertones. Your eyes might be as dark as green, brown, or hazel, but they might also have a golden glint. Warm-season color schemes will be muted, but neither dark nor pastel, and will have a warm undertone. Although the neutral brown foundation of both warm seasons is similar, the spring palette features vibrant spring colors in their hottest tones.

Warm Spring celebrities: Amy Adams, Cameron Diaz, Mandy Moore, and Marcia Cross.

Summer

The long, sunny days of summer are accompanied by a soft, calming breeze that comes from the lake. The natural environment is painted in beautiful hues by the strong sunlight. As a result, Summers have cool, soft, and understated traits that give them a generally pleasant and delicate appearance.

Light

You belong to the Light Summer season if you have:

- Lightly coloured hair, such as strawberry blonde or light to mild ash blonde.

- Neutral skin undertone, neither warm nor cool, however, it may have a faint pink tinge.

- Blue or green eyes

Light season color schemes are subtle but not dark. In contrast to muted colors, which seem darker than their original color, light colors are mixed with white and appear more pastel. As opposed to overpowering it with harsh or dark colors, the light ones enhance your light overall tone.

Light Summer celebrities: Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Amy Poehler, and Naomi Watts.

Soft

You belong to the Soft Summer season if you have:

- Dark to Medium Brown Ash hair

- Light to dark brown skin with neutral undertones

- Grey, blue, and hazel eyes

You'll most likely have undertones that are neither warm nor cold, but depending on what you're wearing or on special occasions, you might tilt one way or the other. The most attractive colors in your scheme are soft but not pastel.

Soft Summer celebrities: Leona Lewis, Ellen Pompeo, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katie Holmes.

Cool

You belong to the Cool Summer season if you have:

- Dark to medium Brown Ash hair.

- Medium beige to dark brown skin with a cool undertone.

- Blue or gray eyes

Your complexion, hair, and eyes will all have a cool or bluish tint if it is a cool season. A medium tone of the colors in your season is most acceptable to contrast and compliment your undertones. Pastel or light-coloured shades are not attractive on cool season types. Avoid warm tones, but don't be afraid to explore with slightly deeper colors than what is on your palette.

Soft Summer celebrities: Kate Middleton, Zendaya, and Tina Fey.

Autumn

Autumn is a time for planting and shorter, foggy days that cover the landscape in hazy, vibrant hues. As a result, fall features are cozy, quiet, and dark, giving the season a rich yet muted image.

Soft

You belong to the Soft Autumn season if you have:

- Blonde to Medium Brown or Red Hair with a golden shine.

- Ivory, Olive, or Medium Brown skin with warm undertones.

- Green, Hazel, or Light Brown eyes.

You'll most likely have undertones that are neither warm nor cold, but depending on what you're wearing or on special occasions, you might tilt one way or the other. Really, you are a chameleon! The most attractive colors in your scheme are either soft but not pastel.

Soft Autumn celebrities:  Jada Pinkett Smith, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Melissa McCarthy, and Drew Barrymore.

Warm

You belong to the Warm Autumn season if you have:

- Warm Auburn or medium to dark golden brown hair.

- Warm undertones with ivory, olive, or medium brown skin.

- Light brown, hazel, or green eyes.

Your eyes might be as dark as the green, brown, or hazel, but they might also have a golden glint. Warm season color schemes will be muted, but neither dark nor pastel, and will have a warm tone. Although the neutral brown foundation of both warm seasons is the same, the fall palette features the medium tones we connect with the season, such as dusty green or maroon red.

Warm Autumn celebrities: Julianne Moore, Jenna Fischer, Debra Messing, and Julia Roberts.

Deep

You belong to the Deep Autumn season if you have:

- Medium to dark brown hair with a golden sheen.

- Warm skin undertones, ivory, olive, or medium to dark brown.

- Hazel, dark brown, deep green, dark blue, and brown-black eyes.

Although the deep seasons (Autumn or Winter) have different skin tones, their eyes and hair are also dark. The richest hues for the season are the most attractive ones in the winter color scheme.

Deep Autumn celebrities: Mindy Kaling, Oprah, Sandra Bullock, and Keira Knightley.

Winter

With its long nights that plunge the natural world into gloominess and its blanket of white snow, winter is a season of stark contrasts. As a result, Winters have chilly, vibrant, and dark characteristics, which give them a sharply contrasted, brilliant appearance.

Cool

You belong to the Cool Winter season if you have:

- Ashy blonde, Ashy light or dark brown, or Black with blue hair.

- Olive or Cool Blue undertones skin.

- Light brown, blue, or gray eyes.

Your complexion, hair, and eyes will all have a cool or bluish undertone if it is a cool season. A medium tone of the colors in your season is most acceptable to contrast and compliment your undertones. Pastel or light-coloured shades are not attractive on cool-season types. Avoid warm tones, but don't be afraid to explore with slightly deeper colors than what is on your palette.

Cool Winter celebrities: Liv Tyler, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lauren Graham, and Kristin Davis.

Clear

You belong to the Clear Winter season if you have:

- Black or medium-dark brown hair.

- Olive or cool skin with blue undertones.

- Bright green or blue eyes

The color schemes for distinct season kinds are the most distinct and least subdued in either direction. In other words, the colors are what we might describe as a true red or true blue, similar to the crayon box you used to have as a child with a tiny diversity of tints and just the brightest shades of each color.

Clear Winter celebrities: Courteney Cox, Alexis Bledel, Zooey Deschanel, and Angelina Jolie.

Deep

You belong to the Deep Winter season if you have:

- Black or medium-dark brown hair.

- Olive or cool skin with blue undertones.

- Dark brown or black eyes

Although the deep seasons (Autumn or Winter) have different skin tones, their eyes and hair are also dark. The deepest hues for the season are the most attractive ones in the winter color scheme.

Deep Winter celebrities: Priyanka Chopra, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Lucy Liu.

Knowing your color season will make it easier for you to style your clothes and shop for appropriate colors that suit and flatter your skin tone. Which season do you belong to?
