Is it just me or were the 2014 Grammys Awards this year kind of empty? There are a lot of stars I expected to see on the red carpet and yet they didn't make an appearance. Well, let's just focus on the stars that did make an appearance... For some reason, the style was more disastrous than fabulous. It's always more fun to start with the worst dressed list, so from the very top...

Paula Patton wore a black and white sequin dress by Nicolas Jerban. Though she tried to channel her inner wild animal, she ended up looking like a zebra threw up on her. Funnily enough, she had two lions growling at each other at her neckline, last I checked lions never had stripes.

Next on the list is Lorde in Balenciaga, or as I like it call it, the black ghost gown. The black silk gown didn't flatter her body at all, as you can see, the dress was stretched out from around her thighs. If you see how this gown looked on the model, you would think it was a completely different one.

Madonna in a Ralph Lauren tuxedo for men? The former Material Girl had a sense of style and used jewelry, not canes to accessorize her outfits.

Rita Ora, in Lanvin and Jimmy Choo heels, looked quite odd. Her makeup and hair was flawless, however, the metallic green dress was quite boring, compared to her funky colorful looks we're used to seeing her in. Remember her Alexandre Vauthier one of a kind dress at the 2013 MTV Music Awards?

Colbie Callait in a red Ezra Couture dress. Frankly, the only thing good about her look was her braided bun, that she has to turn around so we can see it, instead of her choked up look. Don't even get me started on the random red tear in the dress, only subtle cleavage is sexy people, not forced with a tear.

Now it's time to admire some beautiful dresses on the red carpet at 2014 Grammy Awards

Taylor Swift for example looked radiant in Gucci. Actually, Taylor wore two dresses at the event, the Gucci while walking the red carpet, and an Alberta Ferretti one while performing. The nude colors looked absolutely gorgeous on her and she used some bold makeup to make the perfect clash.

Ciara looked simply glowing in a sequined Emilio Pucci. No accessories were needed with this look, her baby bump did it all, looking oh-so-adorable.

Anna Kendrick looked super sexy in a grey Azzaro dress. Her side swept her was perfect to show off the embellishments on her dress.

Chrissy Teigenin in a golden Johanna Johnson dress. Chrissy stole her husband's spotlight as they posed together on the red carpet. The sequined dress wrapped around her body perfectly, making her look like a vision. I really liked her curly hair do, it was a nice addition to her elegant dress.

Julia Roberts in a black lace Elie Saab dress looked simply adorable. What a nice come back after her 2014 Golden Globes disaster. She embraced her sexy side by going for a mini dress with a plunging neckline. She went very simple with her hair and makeup giving that sexy Elie Saab dress an innocent feel to it.
