There is absolutely nothing sexy about cracked or chafed lips, they just don’t look appealing or luscious at all. So, we’re going to tell you about a few tips to make your lips look totally kissable! Your hubby will not be able to resist.

1. Exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate.

Women often forget this, but one of the best things you can do for your lips is to exfoliate them. All you will need is a gentle scrub and a toothbrush, you can even make your own scrub at home. Apply the scrub to your lips and exfoliate with the toothbrush.

2. No smoking.

In case you did not already know this, smoking is really crushing your beauty. Smoking will darken your lips, lead to wrinkles and of course cause a bad smell to your lips area.

3. Always have lip balm on you.

Every woman should have lip balm in her bag, to keep her lips moisturized at all times. Using lip balm is super important in the winter, so don’t forget. Oh, and always apply lip balm before you go to bed. 

4. Apply lip balm before lipstick.

Some lipsticks or lip stains can actually roughen up your lips. Always apply a good base before applying your lipstick, such as a lip balm or even a lip shine.

5. Sunblock is super important for your lips.

When apply sunblock to your body before tanning, don’t forget to apply some sunscreen to your lips to keep them protected too. This will help keep your lips healthy and oh-so-kissable. 

6. Do not go over board with the lip liner.

With the whole Kylie Jenner big lips phase happening, I must say there is really nothing kissable about over drawn lips. Use your lip liner just to define your lips do not go over board. 

7. Coconut oil.

Coconut oil is truly loaded with benefits, and keeping your lips healthy and luscious is one of them. Just dab a bit of coconut oil to your lips and spread it.

8. Don’t bite on your cracked lip.

While it may be tempting to nibble away on your cracked lips, try your best not to. You could actually hurt yourself and this will take longer for your lips to heal.

9. Load up on water.

I cannot stress this enough, water is the answer to all your skin problems. Load up on water to keep your skin hydrated, which will also keep your lips healthy.
