About Contest
Attention all creative Middle Eastern fashion designers, students, artists, graphic designers, illustrators, bloggers, influential Middle Eastern figures, breast cancer survivors and anyone with design talent - here's your chance to design something that will make a difference! Bras for a Cause is the first bra design contest of it's kind to take place in the Middle East in support of breast cancer survivors and breast cancer organizations in the region.

Be sure to submit all your designs by June 30, 2011 before 11:59PM GMT and follow the three easy steps for submitting here. All qualified entries will be posted on our website for a public voting phase between July 2 and July 12, 2011, followed by evaluation by our esteemed Jury for the final decision about the winners for each category.

Contest Guidelines:
1. Contest is open to the public, regardless of design background. Participants are requested to select a design category based on their skill level and inter est.
2. For Bra Design Categories, participants must submit detailed sketches (A4 size) to best represent the designs they have in mind, including one sketch of the front view and second sketch of the side or back view. Only one sketch required for t-shirt designs.
3. For T-shirt Design Categories, participants will be expected to submit the following:
- One A4 or A3 size layout with the design that will go on the T-shirt
- One A4 size layout of design on T-shirt template to show where the design will be positioned on the T-shirt

4. Alongside the design sketches mentioned above, ALL entries must be accompanied by:
- Title for the designed piece
- Description about the design
- A mood board or description what inspired the design
- Detailed list of fabrics, colors and other design requirements
- Target audience: Who is this bra or t-shirt designed for?
5. Each participant has the right to submit up to (3) different designs within any of the Contest Categories.
Winner Selection and Awards:
We're sure you're wondering by now - so what do the winners receive for their creative work and efforts? Well, once we've received everyone's design submissions for all the categories latest by June 26, we'll be posting the entries on our website for public voting period of two weeks (between June 29th and up till July 10th). Our esteemed Jury will then evaluate all the entries and make the final choices for the winners, which will be announced on July 14th. After that, winners will get to watch their designs come to life as we work alongside them to produce them into bras and t-shirts to be showcased and sold in support to regional Breast Cancer organizations in October 2011.
All winners from the categories mentioned above will also receive (4) Event Tickets to attend the exclusive fashion shows in Beirut or Dubai where their designs will be showcased. Additionally, winners will also receive gifts by the sponsors, which will be announced shortly.
